The Nation's Demographics and Voice is Changing!

The numbers show it-- this country is changing. People of color are more liberal than conservative. Even among Whites, the younger ones tend to be more liberal than conservative. Latinos played a big role all-around the nation at this election! “Latinos demonstrated their power as both voters at the ballot box last night, and as congressional candidates that will make history in the 113th Congress," stated Arturo Vargas, executive director of NALEO Educational Fund.

This is only one poll, but I think that little by little, this country is becoming more progressive. Sure, it is not as progressive as the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA should be (we only live in the 21st century!!!) I know that we are moving forward just little more. 

President Obama's re-election has just created a new way of seeing the nation. The impact Latinos have is tremendous and it is growing year by year. Obama's win has inspired me to continue fighting for justice for my Latino community nationwide.
