This morning I met with one of my thesis advisors, Dr. Selena Ngyuen-Rodriguez. We went over my thesis questions and she taught me how to analyze the data I will be using. We met for about 2 hours, write syntax codes and ran a couple of tests -- I feel I learned so much from her, but I need to practice on my own too!
Selena is so wonderful, patient and intelligent. I feel very lucky to have a supportive advisor who teaches me statistics :-) Because of her, I am so excited to learn and master stats so that one day, I can be like her and pass the knowledge to yet another Latina!
Love,
Bea
